I don't plan on playing a Idea Factory game during my lifetime, however I still want that Hot Springs premium theme that was region blocked outside of Japan. Wonder if that's coming, and if so how much foggier is it going to be compared to the Japanese version? #recordofagarestwar

If the 360 is disc based, that get's my money (I prefer having an actual copy of my games) ... if they're both DLC, it's PS3 (my PS3, like most people, has a far larger drive).

This is one of the few times I don't have to debate which system to buy a game for :P #recordofagarestwar

Like I said before, the game is already out in Europe in Disc format. It can be easily imported or bought from NA importer like:

So if any1 really wants the game and wants it in physical format its already available. The NA Downloadable version will probably have some slight improvements tough (and NTSC compatible). #recordofagarestwar

@Seiska: I'd rather wait and support a US company. Aksys has been very good about releasing some cool niche games in the US; I'd like to support them when I can.

I'm not a big fan of buying things twice -- which I did with Demon's Souls to support Atlus :P #recordofagarestwar

I've already imported the Collector's Edition of this game... unfortunately, I need an HDTV to play it. Dammit.

Also, if it is true that it's a disc based game on the X360 and a download-only game on the PS3... sounds like they're still showing favoritism. #recordofagarestwar

It looks like they took a middle-aged second-rate actor and tried to pass him off as a stylish, tough-as-nails warrior. Unfortunately he looks extremely goofy. It's almost embarrassingly lame.

I personally think we've had a shortage of menacing Anglo-Saxon men on our game packaging and would like to see more of this.

Alas, the cover does not accurately reflect what is inside the box, so number 2 is the more obvious choice.

God I hate "westernizations". Reminds me of the modifications they made to the US version of the Harry Potter books, removing a lot of british slang, because americans "don getit". Very frustrating.

Honestly? Not a issue with me. I only read one of the books- a long time ago- but the target audience is (probably) younger than you or I. And I can barely understand some of the British slang, anyways. ^^;

Gotta remember that Localization's purpose is not to just translate- but to translate it in a way that the local culture can understand.

Europe actually gets a fair few Japanese boxarts. We get all the Japanese (or as close to them) Final Fantasy boxarts rather than the meh American ones.
